Hi my name is Brian Robb & I work primarily with adults, couples, & some older teenagers. I’m passionate about helping people: cope with anxiety issues (panic, phobias, OCD, & social fears), depression, & relationship issues. I assist couples with feeling closer & strengthening their bond with one another, even in situations where the trust has been broken. Other focus areas of mine are helping people: process family of origin dysfunction, traumas, difficult emotions, & decrease compulsive behaviors (pornography/alcohol). To share some background on me, I have found therapy personally beneficial to my own life & relationships, which is why I chose to pursue a career in helping others. I’ve been working in the field since 2010 & graduated from both Bowling Green State University & the University of Toledo. Everybody I meet is a unique individual, so I spend the first 3-4 sessions getting to know you before we create a path forward in achieving your current goals. I always strive to be collaborative: focusing on your goals & your pace; and bringing my knowledge of the change process to work alongside you. Finally, I want to share some words of encouragement: know that reaching out is a sign of tremendous strength. It may be your pattern to deal with issues by yourself; & it’s possible to stay stuck because of this pattern for years or even decades. Know that we all need other’s support to be the best version of ourselves. Give yourself the opportunity to try something new and see how it can work
I believe that children are our future. Their resiliency to life's stressors and trauma never ceases to amaze me and I feel grateful working alongside them while they continue to grow. Although children are often resilient, their negative experiences can affect their future if not given opportunity to explore and grow from them. As a licensed independent social worker, I have experience working with children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, behavioral problems, grief, adjusting to life changes such as parental divorce, and trauma. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and families through these challenges and focusing on how their strengths can be used. I specialize in Child-Parent Psychotherapy which is an evidenced-based form of therapy focused on young children that have experienced some sort of traumatic experience and could benefit from strengthening their relationship with their parent, caregiver, or foster placement. My hope is to help your child feel safe and comfortable to explore their experiences, feelings, and behaviors through play and other creative interventions to make time spent in therapy fun and meaningful!
I commend you for taking the first step in improving yourself and your life! I also believe in providing a non-judgmental, safe based environment in which the client and therapist work together in which to achieve a desirable outcome. I will work with you to develop this relationship and provide support as you work toward your goals. I have 20 years of experience working with clients in the areas of: Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anger, Self-Esteem and Boundary Issues, Substance Abuse, Marital Issues including Mental, Emotional and Physical Abuse, and Grief and Loss by using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also provide couples counseling in which I practice the Gottman Method of Therapy. Just remember, that everyone is a human being, and needs a little assistance and guidance every now and then…

A quote that I often think about states, “I’m keeping an eye on the past, an eye on the future, and the present in my pocket.” The message from this quote is the basis for the focus of my practice; to help clients understand or process past trauma and past stressful events, to empower and encouraged clients to work toward fulfilling goals, and to teach clients to be more mindful and present in the here and now for increased life satisfaction. Every person is made of complex experiences, that they have both contributed to and that they have had no control over. It is my passion to assist clients in working through these experiences through Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well as other evidence-based practices for adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I use an empathetic, warm, and genuine approach to my therapy sessions, as it is my goal for my clients to feel accepted and heard, even when being encouraged or challenged. My worldview is that every person deserves to lead a fulfilling and satisfying life. As for my professional vitae, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Minor in Women’s Studies from The University of Akron and my Master’s in Social Work from Ohio State University.

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through the process is the greatest thing we will ever do’’-Brene Brown. Hello and welcome! My name is Stephene Evans and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker. I have worked with a variety of populations throughout my 12+ years of clinical experience; including individuals, children, and adolescents. I am passionate about children and have maintained primary focus on serving young children and families. I specialize in working with early childhood mental health, sensory processing disorders, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, behavior modification, ADHD, parenting, stress management, and trauma. The choice to seek therapy is a very important one, one that shows you are ready to go on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and change. Therapy works because we are utilizing our intrinsic need to connect with others and release the heaviness of issues and problems in ways make us feel heard, supported, and understood. My counseling style is supportive, interactive, empathetic, and culturally inclusive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I recognize every person is unique and therapeutic modalities are not one-size-fits-all. I utilize an eclectic blend of therapeutic approaches including cognitive, behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, systemic and strengths-based counseling. Sessions are very much client-led, meaning that you determine the goals and the direction of our sessions. My role is to walk with you and empower you to challenge and modify the behaviors and thought patterns that are not working. My goal is to help each person make big changes doing small things. Sometimes it just takes one person to listen to help make that change, other times it’s just saying what you are thinking and feeling out loud that makes the difference. Whatever it is, my wish is to be able to help guide you through your own path of self-discovery and self-love.
This place has quickly become like a safe haven. Everyone is extremely easy to reach out and the flexibility is beyond amazing. I'm an extremely busy mom and they're always able to get me in and my child. I'm so thankful for Denise, she's helped me through so many highs and lows. She's kind and truthful and I always turn to her when I'm at a crossroad and need a reality check and good direction. Would recommend this place a hundred times over.
I’ve spent years trying to find a great therapist and I finally did. Denise does such a great job being empathetic, kind, and inspiring while reserving judgement. I feel so blessed to have stumbled across this place and her! Payment and scheduling was easy breezy, and I recommend this place to any friend in need.

Great therapist. Personable and easy to talk to.
This place is lacking everything that makes up a professional counseling.
They’re very good at not figuring out what’s wrong with your child. They’re also not good at communicating with you in regards to your child. I’ll never go back.
They don’t return calls or answer emails in a timely matter. This place is a joke.
