“Healing doesn’t mean the problem never existed. It means the problem no longer controls your
life” – Akshay Dubey
What are you thinking right now, in this very moment. Is therapy right for me? Will therapy work for me? Can anyone help me?
I’d like to be the therapist that works to provide you a conclusion to those questions. My name is Donald and I graduated from Saint Louis University. I earned a Master’s degree in Social Work with a Clinical emphasis. I have experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and anger. I work with adolescents ages 15 and up. I work with adults of any age.
As your therapist, I will use a wide array of evidence-based practices to best suit your needs. You will be provided with a safe space for you to express yourself freely. We will work together to set and meet goals that are meant to help you with the issues you’re currently having. I use a variety of treatment approaches because everyone’s needs are different.
I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Amy Bieber
Hi! My name is Amy Bieber, and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Ohio. I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) and a master’s degree in counseling from Spring Arbor University. I have worked in the mental and behavioral health field for nearly 20 years. I specialize in working with clients with eating disorders, anxiety, depression and substance use disorders, as well as stress related to motherhood, women’s issues, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, and other stress related issues.
I believe treating a person holistically, mind, body and spirit, is the best way to heal. I also believe in treating each person according to their individual needs. Which is why I like to use an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating techniques from many different therapy modalities. Treatment approaches I use are cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical (DBT), person-centered, mindfulness-based, narrative, solution focused, motivational interviewing, as well as nutritional, spiritual and physical interventions.
I am a warm, empathetic person and believe in creating a nonjudgmental, safe environment for clients. I welcome the experience of helping you learn how to manage your struggles with confidence to live a more fulfilling life. I welcome new clients aged 12 to adults.

“Mental health problems don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain. But you are not the rain.” – Matt Haig
We all need the opportunity to in our lives to be seen, heard, and validated and therapy is just the place to find that. Whether its coping with stress, processing difficult emotions, adapting to life changes, or dealing with anxiety, depression, or addiction, I am here to see, hear, and validate you. Using evidence-based practices like motivational interviewing, CBT, and DBT we will work together to find a person-centered plan to help meet your goals. I will provide a safe and supportive environment always looking for progress, not perfection.
I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and have been Licensed in the state of Ohio since 2005. Curtis Andrew Peet
Greetings and thank you for your interest! My name is Curtis Andrew Peet but you can just call me Mr. Andrew. I am a licensed professional counselor here at TBT and have been practicing with this lovely team since the summer of 2023. For nearly four years I have been serving a variety of children and young adult’s mental health needs in the greater Toledo area and simply love what I do! My background from Bowling Green State University is in human development and fine art, this unique blend of disciplines continues to teach me how to utilize every color of the spectrum to make a work of art!
Specializing in early childhood mental health, I aim to lay a positive first experience for young minds that are struggling with trauma, anger, sadness, feelings and/or emotional identification difficulties, attention/hyperactive regulation skills or simply just utilizing coping strategies for the day to day challenges we face in our early years. I hold a concentrations in serving the LGBTQIA+ identifying populations as well as serving individuals that live and manage chronic diseases. My sessions are frequently described as “hands on” and incorporate a variety of sensory and cathartic clinical interventions that are compatible with a variety of social-emotional levels and different learning types. Because “play” is a child’s first language, 60 minutes with me as your counselor will feel like an organic first step in maintaining your child or your own inner-child’s mental health.

Mikaela Buck
As an openly Autistic and ADHD therapist, creating a space where you feel safe, heard, understood, and able to be your most authentic self is of utmost importance to me. I primarily work with individuals ages 14 and up, specializing in trauma, PTSD, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence. I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergent affirming, and culturally inclusive therapist.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I wholeheartedly believe that safety within the therapeutic relationship is the foundation to making changes and adjustments that will allow you the opportunity to build and truly experience the life you are wanting to live. As trust and safety are built, building resources (coping skills), providing psychoeducation, and utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness and Somatic Interventions are incorporated into sessions.
I value checking in and working with you collaboratively each session to ensure you are receiving exactly what you feel will be most helpful – whether that’s the space to vent about your week, working to processing your emotions from current events or past trauma, learning about new skills or new topics, having a quiet space to stim, fidget, draw, color, or play games, or simply having the space to infodump about your special interests (Hint… Mine include animals, specifically: cats, dogs, and owls, and then anything related to psychology or neurodivergence.)
I believe that our bodies ultimately communicate our needs to us each and every moment, so I value incorporating opportunities for you to be curious and tune in, explore, and build the confidence in identifying your needs each and every session.

Stephene Evans
Hello and welcome! My name is Stephene Evans (she/her) and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker practicing in Ohio & Michigan since 2008. I am also an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider through Evergreen Certifications. I have worked with a variety of populations throughout my clinical career with primary focus on children/adolescents and neuro developmental disorders. My specialties include the diagnosis and treatment of: late diagnosis (adult) attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), executive functioning weaknesses, anxiety, depression, sensory processing, grief, positive parenting, early childhood mental health, and trauma.
I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. My counseling style is supportive, interactive, empathetic, and culturally inclusive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I recognize every person is unique and therapeutic modalities are not one-size-fits-all. I believe a trusting therapeutic relationship is the most powerful tool to create lasting change. Human beings do not heal in isolation; we need human connections to thrive. Therapy works because we are utilizing our intrinsic need to connect with others and release the heaviness of issues and problems in ways make us feel heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to foster an environment that feels safe, comfortable, and open to connection throughout your therapeutic journey. Sessions are very much client-led, meaning that you determine the goals and the direction of our time together. My role is to help guide you on your own path of self-discovery and self-love. Regardless of circumstances, you are worthy and deserving of wellness. There is no wrong time, reason, or explanation to come to therapy. When you are ready, I’ll be here.

A quote that I often think about states: “I’m keeping an eye on the future, an eye on the past, and the present in my pocket.” The message from this is the focus of my practice – to help you process past trauma, to empower and encourage you to work toward fulfilling goals, and to teach you to be more mindful for increased life satisfaction. If you find yourself struggling with anxiety or depression, dysfunctional relationships, the lasting impact from trauma, issues with balancing the stressors of work/family/friends/self, and the challenges of current events and society, then we may be a good fit! I have a clinical focus in traumatic experiences, family systems trauma, perinatal and postpartum mental health, reproductive health issues, work/professional stress, and the complicated issues of motherhood/parenthood. I practice from a trauma-informed, HAES-aligned lens, utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, mindfulness practice, and Shame-Informed Therapy. I use an empathetic, warm, and genuine approach, as it is my goal for my clients to feel accepted and heard, even when being encouraged or gently challenged. I practice from a place of intuition and curiosity about your process and utilize humor and kindness to help you grow and learn. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Minor in Women’s Studies from The University of Akron and my Master’s in Social Work from The Ohio State University. I have been practicing at Tomorrow Begins Today since 2017 and am welcoming new clients!
